That’s the number of days till November 1.

So what, you may ask?

Well, I was trolling around on Amazon today and saw something that caught my eye.
June Hemmons Hiatt’s classic The Principles of Knitting showed up in my recommendations. That means it’s an active listing. I clicked and saw the magical button that said, “This item is available for Pre-order.”

According the publisher, the Touchstone imprint of Simon and Schuster, it’s true. They have ISBN’s  for a revised, updated version that will be 704 pages. So, I dare to hope.

I’m lucky enough to own a copy of the original version of this wonderfully useful book, but it makes me happy to think of it being available again to all knitters.

So, start the countdown to November 1 and save your pennies!
